The HOT ORGANIC TRIO was founded in 2004 by Hammond B3 organist vocalist & harp player  YIANNIS  MONOS as an effort  to present for the

first time in Greece, the Hammond organ trio Soul-Jazz sound, something that was helped by the comeback of the mighty, legentary Hammond

B3 organ during the 2000's.The up to 2014 lineup included co-founding members  guitarist Makis Ablianitis and drummer Zafiris Tsinalis.

Their repertoir  includes Jazz, Soul, Funk & Blues standards and themes from the huge tank of the 50's , 60's and 70's era, combined with their

own compositions.

YIANNIS MONOS born in Athens Greece and studied at the National  Music Conservatory and the Contemporary Music School.He started as a 

Hammond organist vocalist and harp player as early as 1985, founding or co-founding several  Blues-Soul  bands such as  JUGBAND BLUES, 

LOT,  SAX-S,  BLUES FAMILY, 
He appeared in concerts next to : MICK TAYLOR (ex Rolling Stones, John Mayall Bluesbrakers), GUITAR SHORTY(

Brother in law of Jimmy Hendrix), SIDNEY (Guitar Crusher) SELBY, LOUISIANNA RED, MALIK YAKUB (Mack Spears) and he opened for JOHN

HAMMOND JUNIOR, EDDY.C.CAMPBELL, LUTHER ALLISON and other.

APOSTOLOS LEVENTOPOULOS is a distiguised Greek guitarist.He graduaded in 2001(Bachelor in Jazz Performance-Dean's List).He attended

many seminars given by players like Peter Bernstein,Pat Metheny,Hiram Bullock,Pat Martino,John Scofield,Mack Turner and others.He has

played with Sean Corby,Alex Foster,Marek Patrman,Logan Richardson,Rex Richardson,Peter Slavov, and others and performed in festivals in

various countries.

VASSILIS POUSAIOS born and raised in Athens Greece.In 1989 was accepted at Berklee College of Music. During his stay there except from attending the full time programm in major of

jazz performance he also studied with internationally acclaimed  teachers Gary Chafee and John Ramsey.He has appeared with the Greek modern music symphony orchestra at numerous

tv and radio broadcast.Vassilios has performed and recorded in Europe and USA with  many Jazz and world music artists.

The trio has played almost every club in Greece and in festivals too, with  lot of success.
